New Westwood Library Forum

Want the facts about building a new library in Westwood?
This is the meeting for you.

When: Sunday, February 7 2-4 PM

Where: First Parish Hall on 340 Clapboardtree Street in Westwood

Westwood/Walpole League of Women Voters sponsors a forum on the proposed new library in Westwood.

The format of the forum will be a panel presentation with questions and answer period to follow. Thomas Viti, Director of the Westwood Library; Dan Lehan, Westwood Public Library Trustee; John Sayre-Scibona, Owners Project Manager; and Philip Shapiro, Chair of the Westwood Board of Selectmen have all agreed to participate.

This is a perfect opportunity to get the facts concerning the building of a new library in Westwood so that you can make an informed decision. Come and bring those questions. You can either ask them from the floor or write them down to have the moderator ask them of the panel members.

Each year Leaguers meet to suggest new studies or changes to state or national positions. This year we are looking at all our National positions. This is your chance to be involved in what goes on at the National level of our League Participate!!
Board members are calling for volunteers to read, summarize, and present positions. Please say, Yes and offer to help! It is a great way to learn more about your League.
Come, Listen, Learn, and send your message to National.
Bring a friend or family member. This is a great meeting to introduce them to the League.
This is also the time to share your ideas for programs or studies at the Local Level.
